A moth to a flame 🔥

The way we so often relate to our life story is like a moth to a flame.

We get enmeshed with the culture and the karma it carries. We subscribe to an ideological sense of self that is imported in from the current post-modern civilisation. A species that has faced many treacheries in its 6 millions years in this Earth paradigm. We made it to where we are today. That is a miracle. You are a miracle.

Yet also we exist elsewhere. In this place all is well and nothing dies. We are eternal life first, and the story of being human second.

We spend our dwellings hiding in the shadows of our psyche anticipating our next move. Yet the light of our souls are shining to us, that are singing us home.

Take responsibility for your karma. You are holding the torch of life. It is both blessed and it is cursed. A whole lineage of ancestors have dwelled with it and handed it down. Now here you are, trying to make something of it. Be present with the process. Honour the process. Honour your life. Honour your very life force that the cosmos has blessed you with. Being alive is a great privilege.

Yet the self is merely an echo of the Divine. Don't chase the echo to try and fix it. Every reflection has a source. You are both the source and its reflection. And so from separation to wholeness. You are already complete. You are already enlightened.
