The Night Has Been Long

The night has been long. Passageways of solitary confinement, blasting through the eternal abyss in search of greener pastures. Hiding away in exile, lurking beneath the concrete of repression. A flower pushing through the cracks of history yearning for its time of fulfilment.

The trees sing to me a melody of belonging as the gentle streams gracefully receive and nourish the depths of my sorrows. I rise and the gales cleanse my soul. I feel new rays of equanimity beaming down onto me. The mystery ushers in through the opening clouds warm and gentle whispers that nurture my soul. I breath it in. It tastes like freedom.

Here I stand at the frontier of time and space utterly immersed in the state of awe. The path awaits my tread as it unfolds before my weary senses. I take a step, and I take another one.

Thanking and honouring this beautiful mystery we call life. May we all come home to our most inner treasures, and may we rejoice in our every breath and our every heart beat in this sacred dance of life and death.

Stay blessed ✨🌸 Always 🙂
