The Legacy of Boarding Schools

Hey guys. It's been a while. I haven't really felt an open channel for writing lately. Although I've been trusting that I've been going through the appropriate experiences in order to prepare me for what I am called to write about, making sure that it is in alignment with what I perceive to be of the highest integrity.

I'm feeling particularly inspired to write about the evolution of consciousness and healing, particularly themed around boarding school as an institution and how it effects people in later life and what I feel we need to do to overcome a very painful chapter of human history. This is not to promote a victim mindset but it is to honour the survivor archetype and all survivors of adversity and offer an empowered mindset. It is to honour all archetypal energy that we call the soul. It is true that we can't start the next chapter of our lives if we keep rereading the last one. However when we are dealing with trauma we are dealing with a sort of scar that traumatic events leave in our psyches. At the ages that a child would go through the boarding school system and is inflicted by adversity he would learn to dissociate due to the unbearable nature of the pain he feels and a lack of external guidance as to how to navigate through it ritually as a catalyst for growth instead of a void for the child to be devoured by for the rest of his life. The wounds fester in the shadows of the subconscious mind. In that way although the past is in the past it lives on in the nightmarish echoes shuddering through the inner exile lands. When a child enters the boarding school for the first time he is placed into a highly competitive environment (depending on the school), and the pressure is on to adopt some kind of survival persona. For the child embracing their inner sacred and maintaining a healthy relationship with their own emotions becomes a threat to the school because this is the road to the child's sovereignty and therefore the revolutionary spark that they have the capacity to be a catalyst for. So the school sets out to destroy the child's potential and replace it with fear based compliance programming. The child's Divinity is vulnerable and pure. It is susceptive to being used and exploited for the gains of the school. The history of boarding schools, particularly elite ones in the UK and other parts of Europe, is deeply intertwined with the socio-economic systems of wealth, power, and privilege. Many of these schools were founded or supported by wealthy families, some of whom amassed their fortunes through exploitative practices, including slavery. The great descendants of such ancestors generally have very little knowledge about trauma and how to integrate these awarenesses into how they run the schools today, even if they wanted to.

Deep down I always knew there was something deeply wrong about all of this even as a child facing such darkness. This is not how we should be raising our future leaders, teachers, warriors, shamans, kings and queens, nor space holders facilitating the rites of passageways for the next generations to come. And so the cycle continues. As an institution it is of your upmost importance to become trauma informed in order to become an updated and more evolved facilitation of the growth of each individual child's prosperity.

The institutionalised part of the collective conscious runs through everyone who has been to such institutions if not tended to after leaving the school. It becomes an aspect of our identity no matter where we are within that power hierarchy. It is our duty to the Whole, not to mention ourselves and our own salvation, to address these parts of us that are wounded. For we carry the trauma. Boarding schools historically and culturally enforced conformity, discipline, and adherence to the institution's traditions through physical punishment and emotional suppression. If we do not address our ancestral traumas we will pass it onto the next generations out of ignorance.

The pain that the experiences can leave in the psyche can sometimes last for the rest of a survivors life, or at least until he has a force 12 nervous breakdown. It can break a man. When a child dissociates in boarding school and continues on this trajectory in later life he is essentially going against his own nature alas creating more dis-ease for himself. The delight of flowing cosmic belongingness.' — A quote from the book A Psychedelic Experience by Ralph Metzner & Timothy Leary. It is up to us to turn towards our Nature and our Wildness. The untameable aspects of our souls. The undomesticated. The contrary to doing this can be a treacherous peril. Boarding schools especially the elite ones carry a deep corruption that lives, breathes, and is breaded through everyone who's karma is effected by them like a ripple effect in the ocean of consciousness. For we are the tools, the paintbrushes, and keepers of this Earth. We have the honour of being alive in this pivotal moment of human history to make it a brighter place than how we found it. A world liberated from post-colonial imperial corruption that shackles us all, no matter our ethnicity, our political party, our faith or football team. We must unite despite all our polarities. For there is one beating drum that echoes through the corridors of time. The beat of Unconditional Love. There is only one darkness. It is merely ignorance. We have been divided and conquered. But a Great Revolution is brewing.

My shaman once said, 'finally you are here. There is a chain that is passing. Knowledge, but also sadness, pain, addictions, troubles. It is for you to understand what you have received from your ancestors, what you have to heal from that chain, what you have to cut to not trespass yourself onto the ones to come or that are already here.' It is up to us to discover what our gifts are. In the middle of my voyage into the Amazon Rainforest to sit with Mother Ayahuasca I asked a lady fearfully 'what is my gift?' and she responded assuringly 'it is your presence.' It is claiming the vessel that is my soul embodied as the Divine as my guide. It is up to us to journey through the night and to bring home our long lost treasures. It is up to us to be the Light Workers of our times, the Great Awakening of All Time. Otherwise the treasures will die inside of us along side the human legacy. But we are shooting stars and our wishes come true. Because they are the Earth's wishes. We are the Children, the Kings and Queens of the Third Millennium. We are the Gatekeepers of the Golden Ages. The New Earth is upon us. Brothers and Sisters — We must rise to meet it.
