Standing in My Truth

Hey everyone,

It has been a little while since I have shared openly about my journey, and I have been feeling called to do so again. Writing has always been my way of processing life, turning experiences, even the difficult ones, into something meaningful. Something that, hopefully, offers insight beyond just my own story.

Lately, I have been reflecting on an experience that challenged me deeply. Rather than focusing on details or anyone else's part in it, I want to share what I have learned, what is mine to own, what I have taken from it, and how it has shaped me. This is not about rehashing the past or stirring anything up, it is about expression, integration, and sharing something real.

When Life Feels Unfair

There are moments in life that shake our sense of fairness.

Without diving into every detail, I found myself in a situation where something I said triggered someone. In response, I was met with an intense wave of emotion, words that felt harsh, unfair, and painful to hear. It was New Year's Eve, and I was already feeling raw, so my initial reaction was… well, human. When we are hurt, we react. It was not calculated or malicious, just the natural response of someone suddenly on the receiving end of something that felt unjust.

But from there, things escalated. The energy around it kept growing, and somehow, I became the focus of blame in a way that felt completely disproportionate. I sat with so much pain, frustration, and the deep feeling of being misunderstood.

Yet instead of staying in that space of this is unfair, I started asking a different question: What is my part in this? Not in a self-blaming way, but in a way that allows me to take back my own power. Because at the end of the day, I do not control how others react, I only control how I integrate, grow, and move forward.

Standing Firm in Who I Am

One of the hardest parts of this experience has been seeing my character twisted into something unrecognisable. A version of me has been painted, one that does not reflect the person I know myself to be. Words like abusive and harmful have been thrown around, and it has been deeply painful. Have I had human reactions? Yes. Have I been hurt and at times reacted from that place? Of course. But I have never been abusive. I have never moved with the intent to harm.

I have spent my life honouring, worshipping, and striving to understand the feminine, even when I have been hurt by her. And yet, I have found myself at the centre of something that feels like a smearing campaign where anything I said or did was twisted and used against me. I have been gaslit, had my reality questioned, and even had threats thrown my way. At times, it has been overwhelming. It has triggered deep wounds, of being bullied, scapegoated, and harassed, sending my nervous system into overdrive, crashing me into fever, purging, and exhaustion.

But through it all, I have had wise counsel reminding me, Do not react. If I respond from a place of anger or defensiveness, I only fuel the narrative being spun about me. I become what they say I am. Instead, I am being called to hold my ground in a deeper way, to stand firm in my knowing, in my dignity, and to trust that my truth will defend itself.

So, I choose to rise above. It has not been easy, but I am incredibly grateful for those who have guided me, those who remind me to stay in my heart, to trust myself, and to let my actions, not my reactions, define who I am.

The Spirit of Community

Through all of this, one thing has weighed heavily on me: I truly believe this could have been handled differently. It did not have to become so public, so dramatic, so heavy for everyone involved. I believe there was a better way, one rooted in dialogue, in conflict resolution, in actual conversation rather than escalation. Because at its core, this was a moment of two human beings triggering each other. Nervous systems reacting to nervous systems. And instead of regulation, instead of de-escalation, the situation took on a life of its own. People got pulled in, energy was amplified, and suddenly, it was no longer about two people working through something, it was a whole narrative being woven, decisions being made about me without me even being part of the conversation.

That is hard.

I do not say this to blame, only to reflect on how we, as a community, can do better. These moments happen, conflict is inevitable. But how we hold it, how we resolve it, makes all the difference. I believe in a way of handling conflict that does not tear people down, but creates space for accountability, growth, and healing.

So, this is me, choosing to stand in my truth. Not in opposition to anyone, but in alignment with myself. I am learning, I am growing, and I trust that, in the end, the truth will speak for itself.

Gratitude for the Journey

Through all of this, I find myself arriving at a place of deep gratitude.

Thank you to everyone who has played a part in this experience, whether through challenge or support. You have been my teachers, my mirrors, my initiators. In the heat of the forge, between the anvil and the hammer, I have been shaped, tempered, and refined.

Thank you to my counsel, to the wise ones who have held space for me, reminding me of who I am when the world felt like it was trying to tell me otherwise. Thank you to my guides, seen and unseen, who whisper through the winds of Avalon, through the sacred waters, the ancient earth, and the fire that transforms all things.

Thank you to Spirit, to the divine orchestration of this unfolding, to the great Lila, the cosmic dance, where we all play our parts in the weaving of something far greater than we can see.

And thank you to Avalon herself, this land that holds us, tests us, strips us bare, and reveals what is true. I surrender to her lessons, to her trials, and to the knowing that everything happens as it must.

I walk forward, not bitter, not burdened, but grateful. Grateful for the fire, for the refining, for the reminder that truth, when stood in, needs no defence.

With love and reverence, always.

Thank you for reading.
